Author Solutions (www.authorsolutions.com), the leading self-publishing company in the world, is looking for highly skilled creative filmmakers to write, direct and edit live action high def trailers based on our books. Filmmakers must be excellent storytellers and understand how to maximize very minimal budgets. Please see the following two examples:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kvu-aPi8PaA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03-lTeXXkuk

Please note, the entire budget for these projects is $2500 (not including music scoring). If you genuinely believe you can (at least) match the quality level of these two trailers at this budget level, please go to www.authorsolutionsfilm.com and click on "Hollywood Trailers" to apply to be part of our freelance filmmaker network.

Filmmakers on these projects must be able to write, direct, shoot, and edit. Please do not apply if you are not capable of all of the above. PLEASE NOTE: ALL TRAILERS MUST BE SHOT IN H.D., so only apply if you have access to the necessary camera equipment.

If selected to be a part of our Hollywood Trailer filmmaker network, when assigned a project you will be sent a book to read and given 10 days to turn in a script/proposal detailing exactly what you are planning to shoot. You may be given notes on said proposal and asked to make changes. You will then have two weeks to shoot and deliver a rough cut. You will then be given notes on your rough cut (and in some cases, asked to do re-shoots if need be). You will then be given 10 more days to polish and turn in your final cut. A professional composer will be provided to score each trailer.

Author Solutions (www.authorsolutions.com), the leading self-publishing company in the world, is looking for creative freelance filmmakers from around the country to conduct, shoot and edit high quality video interviews with our authors. Filmmakers must have access to a High Definition Camera and quality sound recording equipment.

In order to make the final product as interesting as possible, you will also need to shoot creative B-roll and lay in stock music underscoring. Filmmaker will then submit a rough cut of the interview for approval and notes, adjust accordingly and then turn in your final cut. A series of interview questions will be provided, but filmmaker must be comfortable working with a variety of personalities and getting the most out of an interview.

We are asking all interested filmmakers to put together a 60 second interview to give us an idea as to how you might shoot something like this. Your interview subject can be anything/anybody you want. Just be creative and show us the level of work we should expect from you.

Take a look at the following two examples interviews:
