Background:

Prior to joining the Film Office, Vince was Vice President of Production for Showtime Networks. Vince supervised the production of over 160 episodes of television series and more than 32 television movies. For the last two years of his twelve-year tenure at Showtime, Vince was in charge of the production department for Showtime's award winning Original Programming. Series under his supervision included "Dexter", "Californication", and "The Tudors". A native of Indiana, Vince graduated from Ball State University in 1992 with a B.S. degree in Telecommunications. Prior to his tenure at Showtime, Vince was Manager of Production at ABC Productions.

Bob Schmaling

Background:

Bob Schmaling is a native Oregonian with over twenty-five years of experience within the Oregon production industry. He has worked as key grip, General Manager of Pacific Grip & Lighting, as well as three-term board member, two-term President and Interim Executive Director of the Oregon Media Production Association (OMPA). In these various roles Bob has worked closely with numerous commercial productions, feature films, television and documentary production. His broad range of experience within the production industry, his understanding of the industry’s importance to Oregon as well as his personal connection to the state serve the production industry and the Film Office well. As Oregon Film Office Senior Project Manager his most recent projects of note include “Feast of Love,” “Untraceable,” “Twilight” and “TNT's Leverage Series.”

Jane Ridley

Background:

Jane was born and raised in England, where she received a BA Honors in Film & Television/Sociology from the University of London, Goldsmith’s College. She joined the Oregon Film Office after nineteen years of experience in various capacities in film and television in both the US and the UK. She has broad production experience within the entertainment industry and most recently was head of development for six years with a production company at Warner Bros. in Los Angeles. Jane moved to Portland in 2002.

Susan Haley

Background:

Susan Haley is a University of Oregon graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Susan brings twenty eight years of business management and experience to the Film Office. She has been at the Film Office since July 2000 and currently serves as the Marketing and Administrative Manager. Her focus is on operations, administration of the incentive programs, and outreach to the Oregon independent filmmaker community. She has served as a Legislative Aide in the Oregon House, currently volunteers as an advisory board member for ITT Technical Institute, The Art Institute of Portland, Clackamas Community College, the Sabin-Schellenberg Technical School, and POW Fest, and is a former member of the Film Action Oregon Board, the North Clackamas Parks Dept.'s Budget Advisory Board, and the North Clackamas Citizen's Association.

Background:

Nathan was born in Washington and has resided in numerous locations including Portugal and Guinea Bissau, West Africa before making his way back home to the Northwest. 15 years ago he moved to Oregon where he received a BA Honors in Communication/ Film & Video Production from George Fox University. Most recently, Nathan served as a Cruise Director for the Portland Spirit dinner cruise line. Nathan joined the Film Office in 2008 bringing over 15 years of experience in IT/Computer support, customer service, and a love for cinematography and the art of filmmaking.
