Oregon Events

Festivals, Events and Things to Do in Our Community

Here are just a few of the events - past, present and future - that we have been a part of, will be a part of, or that we just want to share with everyone. Feel free to check them out, ask questions about them, or let us know about others we should be checking out ourselves. It's all part of celebrating #OregonMade in all of its various creative forms.

And for those of you looking for the authentic Oregon Movie Experience, why not check out a stay in the house were Paul Newman's film version of Ken Kesey's "Sometimes a Great Notion" was shot, just outside of Lincoln City.

Or stay a couple of nights in the hotel where the exterior shots for Stanley Kubrick's film version of Stephen King's "The Shining" were shot, at the top of Mt. Hood.

Check out the shooting location for the 1968 production of "Paint Your Wagon" in this 2012 video from just outside of Baker City and this "making of" video on the Baker Heritage Museum's website.
