Signed into law after the 2021 legislative session, the Creative Opportunity Program (COP) dedicates 2% of the Oregon Production Investment Fund (OPIF) to community supporting programs like grants, workforce development, training, regional development, and strategic partnership programs. Each year approximately $375,000 is committed to a broad range of programming that supports Oregon’s creative community.
Find out about the programs currently being undertaken as part of the newly created Creative Opportunity Program by following these links:

IMPORTANT NOTE: The COP does not provide grants or funding for individual films, shorts, or projects unless they are submitted/processed through an existing and open grant program (e.g. the Tell Your Story Grant, Outdoor Adventure Film Grant, or Oregon Impact Grants as/when those grant programs are open for submissions). The COP seeks to partner with established community and non-profit organizations on film and media projects that seek to grow, train and/or benefit the greater creative community at-large.
